Obituary of Earl Stanley, Jr.

Earl Stanley, Jr., age 94, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN, with Bro. Lonnie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Brownsville Funeral Home. Earl Stanley was born on May 11, 1927. He served his country in the United States Army. He loved to talk and visit with people. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, as well as buying and selling cars. He is survived by his wife, Armandina Stanley, a daughter, Carolyn Clement, (Lee), three sons; Paul Stanley, (Dorothy), Sammy Stanley, (Brenda) all of Brownsville, TN, Tony Stanley (Saundra), Knoxville, TN, a brother, Harris Hughes, (Linda) Brownsville, TN, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Earl Stanley, Sr. and Lucille Watson Stanley Hughes, a son, Mark Stanley, a grandson, Michael Shane Stanley, two sisters, Ruth Walker and Virginia McDougald. Pallbearers for the service are Wade Stanley, Wayne Stanley, Eric Stanley, Henry Clement, Jason Stanley, Stevie Goodman and Honorary Pallbearer, Patrick Hines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home, 2865 E. Main St., Humboldt, TN 38343.
