Obituary of Donna Edwards

Donna Lynn Pigue Edwards, age 53, passed away peacefully at her home, after battling a short illness, on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at her home in Bells, TN. She was born on September 7, 1967, to the late Jerry A. Pigue and June Ellington Pigue. Donna enjoyed her job as a Physical Therapist Manager with Humboldt Health in Humboldt, TN. She loved the Lord as her Savior and was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church where she loved teaching the children. Donna is survived by her devoted husband, Andy Edwards and loving son, Joel Edwards and a special friend, Shelby Holland. In addition, she has one surviving sister, Zandra Thomas and a host of nephews and nieces whom she adored. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church, 1808 Love Road, Bells, TN 38006 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101, or N.O.A.H. of Crockett County (Neighbors Offering Assistance and Hope), P.O. Box 67, Maury City, TN 38050. Funeral Services for Mrs. Edwards will be held in a private graveside service with Bro. Josh Simmons officiating. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
