Obituary of Mary Jane Baggett

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Jane joined our Lord and her Daddy on September 29, 2021, following a brave fight over the last year. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 2:30 PM at the Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush, with Bro. Lonnie Robinson officiating. Mary’s father, Clarence Baggett, Jr. preceded her to heaven’s gate on March 4, 2005. Mary Jane is survived by her mother, Delois Davis Baggett; a sister, Susan Baggett; her uncle Larry and wife, Patricia, and their son, Tony and his wife, Lisa, their two children, Laura Leigh and Anthony and wife, Lacey, and their newborn son, George Grady Baggett, all of Tibbs. Mary tended to what needed doing all of her life with love. She was faithful serving her home church, Antioch Baptist Church for decades in multiple capacities as long as there was a need. And the children, her legacy… “Mimi” was a caregiver to many precious children – each one very special in her life and heart and all became family. She was theirs and they were loved and protected as if they were her own – and while they were in her care, they absolutely were. Pallbearers for the service are Anthony Baggett, Tony Baggett, Taylor Sullivan, Joey Parker, Garrison Parker, and Ryan Pugh. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Brown Thomas, James Simpson, Tommy Castellaw, Ricky Hood, Mike Gay, Larry Baggett, Bob Hood and Bennie McBroom. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, c/o Delois Baggett, 74 Tibbs-Forked Deer Rd, Brownsville, TN 38012. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
