Obituary of Silas Bert Martin, Jr.

Silas Bert Martin, Jr., age 44, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Brownsville Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at 1:00 P.M. Mr. Martin was born in Somerville, TN on January 1, 1977, to the late Silas Bert Martin, Sr. and Shelia Larene Whittemore Martin. He worked as an operator for Lasco for over 17 years. He is survived by his grandmother: Dorothy Martin; one sister: Kristian Tucker (Rickey) all of Whiteville, TN; His Stepfather: Danny Alford of Three Way, TN; his best-friends: John Spain of Milan, TN and Paul Maddox of Brownsville, TN; He leaves a host of Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are John Spain, Paul Maddox, Johnny Martin and Jamie Warren.
