Obituary of Daisy Barbee Mann

Daisy Mae Barbee Mann, age 95, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Northside Hospital in Duluth, GA. A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, October 29, 2021, at 11 AM in the Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday Evening, October 28, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Mrs. Daisy is survived by two sons, Charles Edward Mann, (Winnie), Memphis, TN; James V. Mann, (Patricia), Jackson, TN; four daughters, Hattie Williams, (David), Snellville, GA; Gloria Mann, Stone Mt, GA; Martha Mann, Decatur, GA; Bevelin Jones Mann, Brownsville, TN; two sisters, Betty Newby, Irene House; one brother, Ewell Jelks, Sr.; 95 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and three adopted grandchildren, James, Siaaron and Joshua, and one special niece, Geraldene Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Mann, her parents, Charles and Jettie Anderson Barbee, Sr. and children, Maxine Frances, William MacArthur and Wilbert Otis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4825 Trousdale Dr., Suite 220, Nashville, TN 37220.
