Jeanette Baker Morris, age 76, departed this life on Thursday, December 2, 2021, in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the Bells Funeral Home Chapel in Bells, TN. Burial will follow at the Kail Cemetery in Crockett County. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM, on Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Bells Funeral Home Chapel. Jeanette was born on July 7, 1945, in Maury City, TN, the daughter of the late Shelly and Bessie Rude Baker. She worked as a self-employed contractor. She was blessed to be a part of the South Jackson Church of Christ family. She enjoyed talking on the phone and playing games and especially being on the computer to keep up with friends and family on Facebook. She is survived by her husband, James Morris of Jackson, TN; two sons, Travis Morris (Linda) of Brownsville, TN and Tony Morris (Shannon) of Jackson, TN; one daughter, Vanesa Perry of Jackson, TN; one sister, Barbara Truman of Rockford, IL, as well as several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Baker. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
