Obituary of Caroline Boone

Caroline Virginia Jacocks Boone, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 in the Bells Nursing Home. Her Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Burial will follow. A visitation will be conducted Wednesday, April 17, 2019, 11 AM to 11:45 AM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Upon graduating from Haywood High School, Caroline started her working career with South Central Bell which ended when Brownsville connected with the dial system. She later worked for the Haywood County Chamber of Commerce and American Air Filter. Caroline begin her life and spent most of it on the Cobb Switch Road in the neighborhood of Holly Grove. She was a life long member of Allen Baptist Church. Until her health failed, she loved traveling and especially enjoyed her trip to Israel and the Holy Land. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Theodore and Olga Bess Vaughn Jacocks, a brother, Robert Gene Jacocks, two sisters, Kathryn Jacocks Murphy and Beulah Louise Jacocks. She is survived by three nephews who will miss her greatly, Danny Murphy, Ronnie Jacocks and Jerry Jacocks.  In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Chestnut Grove Cemetery, c/o Jack Fox, 939 Meadow St., Brownville, TN 38012.
