My husband, Kevin, is the grandson of Bobby and Geri Adkins. We first got to know Ron at a family reunion in Dyersburg in 2015. After the reunion, we kept up with each other on Facebook. We prayed for his health issues and sent digital Christmas greetings. After Ron moved to Brownsville, he came to our car wash in south Jackson. The attached picture is my husband with Ron at the car wash. His eyes lit up when he talked about being an umpire and ref, and also when he talked about his fur babies. The last time we saw Ron was at his uncle Bobby’s funeral in December of 2021. We are glad that we got to know Ron and became friends. Kevin and I thought he was courageous to move to Brownsville when he had spent so many years in California. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May Ron Rest In Peace and rise in glory. John 14:6
