Obituary of Edward Earl Marbury

Rev. Edward Earl Marbury, age 83 passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Baptist Church, Milan, TN and Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 1:00 -2:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. He was born November 5, 1934 to Andrew Earl Marbury and Mable Ruth Holladay Marbury. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and two infant sons. Rev. Marbury was a Baptist minister in Gibson, Obion, and Wayne Counties for 51 years. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Milan, TN. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Forsythe Marbury, daughter, Linda Hatfield (Jack) and son, Timothy Edward Marbury (Rhonda) and grandson, Cody Marbury (Cesalee), step granddaughter, Jamie Alvine, step grandson, Jason Hatfield and three step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Janet Marbury Lewis.
