Mrs. Judy G. Joyner, age 53, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home in Bartlett, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2018, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Joyner was preceded in death by her step father, William Geno and her father and mother in law, James and Lorraine Joyner. She is survived by her husband, Steve Joyner, Bartlett, TN, her son, Michael Shane Hooten, Memphis, TN, her mother, Jeanetta Geno and James D. Caldwell (Daddy Jim), Ashland, MS, seven brothers: Danny Peterson, Jerry Peterson, Jackie Peterson (Regina) and Robert Peterson all of Alamo, TN, John Hooten (Kim) Memphis, TN, Robert Dale Hooten, Oklahoma City, OK, Lynn Edward Hooten, Enid, OK and a granddaughter, Amelia Hooten. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: The American Red Cross, (Midsouth) 1399 Madison Avenue Memphis, TN 38104 or Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, 50 North Dunlap St., Memphis, TN 38103.
