Obituary of Janie Louise Thomas

Mrs. Janie Louise Thomas, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mildred Lea Thomas. She is survived by her husband, William Lloyd Thomas, Sr., one son, William Lloyd “Bill” Thomas, Jr., both of Brownsville, TN, one daughter, Susan Thomas Garland (Bobby) Smyrna, TN, one sister, Pat Powell, Germantown, TN, two grandchildren: Katie Garland Norris (Jared), Sara Garland Couch (Matthew) and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to: Poplar Corner Baptist Church, 1010 Boyd Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012.
