Tim encouraged me while I was restoring my first classic car. He would check on me regularly to see the progress.
Even got me to enter my yellow 1969 Camaro in the first Tennessee Trash car show. Learned so much from Tim and the gang. I will miss you Tim, your friend Ray.

I met Tim when he needed a fill in at the car lot when his secretary was having a baby. I had took one of the lots cars to take one of his sons to football practice and was going to visit a friend while he practiced. I was rear ended on the way to see my friend and Tim's car was totaled. I was terrified to call him and tell him what happened but when I did.. he said he didnt care about the car as long as I was ok. Everytime I saw him for the last 30 years his first question was you ok? I'm going to miss my friend so much. Prayers for you Carol. Love you!

Very sorry to hear of his passing, Was supposed to go with Bobby Barden two weeks ago to visit Tim, but had to work. Wish I would have gone. Everytime I came back to Brownsville, always made it a point to stop and visit him. Such a man with a heart very few have. I have known Tim many years and always made it a point to visit. Even the early days, when I came to Brownsville on the weekends, had to go to Key motors and watch wrestling with him, David Duke and several others. The only thing that I did not understand was he always called me "CAT LION". not Bubbba, nor OB. Just CAT LION. I never really understood, but he texted several weeks ago aqnd addressed me as CAT LION? Love ya TIM. See you one day. Now I pray for Carol and the family that God will heal. See all of you tomorrow. God bless all of you!

I heard of Tim’s death from my friends, the Stubblefields in Covington. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Tim’s father, Joe Wallace Sills, and my mother Mary Lucille Landers Kimery were first cousins. My mother passed away May 24, 2018 at age of 101 years and 8 months. I have fond memories of visiting all of mothers uncles, aunts and cousins in Brownsville during my childhood. May God wrap you in His arms during this time of grief.

I don't know where to begin… I was always known to Tim as his "LITTLE BROTHER"!!! He has always been a Big Brother to me and treated me just like one.. When Tim was your friend he was a true friend.. I remember so many car shows and trips with Tim even if it was to Nashville, Memphis or Jackson they were always so much fun... Just a couple of weeks ago me and my wife went to visit him and Carol and listening to the stories he was telling my wife about me growing up made me laugh so hard.. There will never be such a loving & caring Father, Husband and as I called him Big Brother... May God put his loving and healing hand on Carol, Joe Wallace and Timothy along with their families...I love you "BIG BROTHER" til we meet again at the feet of our Lord and Savior...

Tim and I spent a lot of time together playing our guitars. He always positioned himself next to me on stage. I joined the ReSounds circa 1967, and we had a great time playing for area high school dances. I got a call from Tim in the early '90s inviting Guy Brummett and myself over to his house to "jam." We sounded pretty good and decided to "come out of retirement." After we added some more musicians, that was basically the birth of Exit 56 band.
Tim was known for his love of classic cars and music, but I think his major character trait was to be a kind, unselfish individual. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one.
I am honored that we spent time together, and I am happy that our lives crossed. I know he is playing bass for the angelic music of heaven now.
And to all of the family, please accept my sympathy.
I
