Obituary of Billy Stafford

Mr. Billy Stafford, age 83 passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Decatur County Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2019, 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Billy retired after 32 years from Brownsville Utility as a Supervisor with the Gas & Water Dept. Mr. Billy was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Stafford, a daughter Betty Friend, a brother, Clyde Stafford, a sister, Pauline Hutcheson and his parents, Willie and Bessie Stafford. He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Lea (Bill), Brownsville, TN, a sister, Sarah Richardson, Brownsville, TN, a son-in-law, Jerry Friend, five grandchildren, Abby Hooper, Emily Chantharasy, Father Patrick Friend, Katherine Friend, Joseph Friend, five great-grandchildren, Drake Hooper, Stafford Hooper, Mary Elizabeth Hooper, Miller Chantharasy and Jude Chantharasy.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center, 130 Boyd Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012.
