Luther's Obituary Luther Harold Norville, D.S.C., U.S.N., age 83, passed away, Monday, June 21, 2010, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Mr. Norville was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bells, a Mason in the Alamo Lodge #164, and a Shriner in the Ben Ali Temple in Sacramento, CA. He was a retired DSC in the United States Navy and United States Army Corps of Engineers who was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Norville was also the owner and operator of Fruitvale Electronics. Visitation will be from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home Chapel in Bells, TN, and Thursday, June 24, 2010, from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Bells, TN. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Bells, TN, officiated by Rev. Terry Presson. Interment will follow in Belleview Cemetery in Bells, TN. Pallbearers will be Sam Norville, Joe Norville, Luke Norville, Chris Edwards, Curtis Leggett, Devin Cardwell, and Roger Rentfro. Mr. Norville is survived by a son: Luther Harold Norville, Jr. of Memphis, TN; a daughter: Marilyn Norville Cardwell of Sacramento, CA; three brothers: Rex Norville of Jackson, TN, and Dan Norville and Tracy Norville, both of Bells, TN; two sisters: Annie Floye Humes and Margaret Edwards, both of Bells, TN; three grandchildren: Devin Cardwell, Micah Cardwell and Kendra Burow; and a great grandson: Jackson Burow. He preceded in death by his parents: Luther Homer and Hara Giles Norville; his wife: Virginia Jeanette Norville; a daughter: Linda Sue Norville; and two brothers: Barney Norville and Forest Norville.
