Obituary of Richard Durwood Escue

Richard's Obituary Mr. Richard Durwood Escue, age 86, a US Navy Veteran of WWII, passed away Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard Dave Escue and Annie Viola Stanley Escue; three brothers: Stanley Escue, Lewis Escue and Raymond Escue; four sisters: Elise Arendale, Inez Sells, Evelyn English, and Helen Langley. Funeral services for Mr. Escue will be held at Eureka United Methodist Church, Saturday, June 5, 2010 with Rev. John Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the Forked Deer Cemetery. Mr. Escue is survived by his wife: Bobbie Clair Crossen Escue; one son Sam L. Escue and his wife, Lynda, Alexandria, AL; three daughters: Janie Collins (Brian), Jackson, TN, Joyce Burcky (Peter), Bartlett, TN, and Frances Bullard (Raymond), Southaven, MS; one brother: David Escue (Beverly), Jackson, TN; two sisters: Mollie Moore (John), and Mildred Scobey (Curtis), all of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
