Obituary of Bobbie Jean Duke

Bobbie's Obituary Mrs. Bobbie Jean "Crossnoe" Duke, age 79, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson TN. She was born on September 26, 1930 in Crockett County, TN to the late Ruffin Allen Crossnoe and Ina Mae Pierce Crossnoe . She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: William Judson Duke Sr. a daughter: Donna Carol Duke; four brothers: Roy Crossnoe, Charles Crossnoe, Donald Crossnoe, and Johnny Mack Crossnoe; one sister: Mae Edna Edwards. Mrs. Duke was a devoted member of Allen Baptist Church where she served as the financial secretary. Mrs. Duke is survived by her son: William Judson Duke Jr of Brownsville, TN; two daughters: Jean Duke Edinger (Eddie), Shelbyville, Ky, Marilyn Ann Duke, Arlington, TN; a step-daughter: Julia Christie Hartman (Paul), Murfreesboro, TN ; one brother: Carmel Crossnoe, Louisiana; three sisters: Lennie Faye Hughes, Covington, TN, Margaret Baxter, Brownsville, TN, and Joy Redden, Southaven, MS; and four grandchildren Funeral services will be held at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home Chapel, Brownsville, TN at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 2 , 2010 with Bro. Phil Lovelace officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Baptist Church Cemetery.
