Obituary of Frances Mable Marbury

Frances' Obituary Mrs. Frances Mable Smith Marbury, age 92, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 in Covington Manor. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Harrison Smith and Willie Maude "Dude" Smith; her husband: Rufus Marbury; her son: Billy Wayne Marbury; and one daughter: Bobbie Jean Marbury Coulston. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2009 in the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Marbury was a charter member of Keeling Baptist Church, which was established on August 11, 1935. She was a nursery and beginner teacher there for many years. Mrs. Marbury is survived by one daughter: Carol Littles, Stanton, TN; one brother: James E. Smith, Stanton, TN; five grandchildren: Dwayne Marbury, Debbie Modglin, Tony Rodgers, Henry "Bubba" Rodgers, and Dina Combs; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
