Marie Lunsford's Obituary Marie Lunsford Baggett, age 93, of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Brownsville, Tennessee. Mrs. Baggett was a member of the Allen Baptist Church for over 60 years, a retired cook for Haywood Elementary School. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, November 7, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2014, in the chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes officiated by Bro. Phil Lovelace with interment to follow in the Allen Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include one son, David (Tina) Baggett of Lakeland, TN; two daughters, Charlene Ragland of Memphis, TN, and Shirley Saxon of Brownsville, TN; one sister, Nell Forsythe of Bells, TN; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Maggie Myrtle Robbins Lunsford; her husband of over 50 years, Mr. William E. Baggett; a son, Randy Baggett; a daughter, Peggy Kirk; a brother, J.W. Lunsford and three sisters, Mary Alice Johns, Alberta Virginia Baggett and Jean Staggs. Pallbearers are Gene Carter, Chad Kirk, Michael Saxon, Oston Saxon, Cullen Kirk and Miller Saxon. The family has requested that memorials be sent to Allen Baptist Church, 5533 Highway 79 North, Brownsville, TN 38012.
