Obituary of Ella Mae Mathis

Ella's Obituary Mrs. Ella Mae Mathis, age 92 passed away December 31, 2010 at Haywood Park Community Hospital in Brownsville, TN. Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by her parents: Richard Gibbs and Eva Christmas Gibbs; her husband: H.O. (Bert) Mathis; and a brother: Joe Richard Gibbs Sr. Mrs. Mathis was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Brownsville Baptist Church, Brownsville, TN at 3:00 P.M with Dr. H.K. Sorrell officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Mathis will be held between 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the Brownsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. She is survived by two sons: Lynn Mathis, (Dawn), and Ray Mathis, (Melessia), all of Jackson, TN; her dear friend, Nancy Goodman of Brownsville, TN; five grandchildren: Dr. Chris Mathis, (Linda), Germantown, TN, Jennifer Cunningham, Brownsville, TN, Megan Mathis, Douglas Mathis, and Jessie Mathis, all of Jackson, TN; two great-grandchildren: Ainsliegh Cunningham and Delaney Cunningham both of Brownsville, TN.
