Obituary of Dora Jan Burke

Dora's Obituary Jan Mayer Burke, 60, of Morrison, TN, died Friday, October 8, 2010. She was a well-known artist and member of the Brownsville community for many years. She was a member of Morrison First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jim Burke, her mother Janette Gentry, her brother Sonny Gentry, sister Laurie Duffy, her son Tommy Mayer, her daughter Marcie Mayer Adamson and her stepdaughter Audra Burke, also nieces and nephews. Services will be at graveside 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 12 at Brownsville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to Vanderbilt University Cancer Research, American Cancer Society, or Gideon Bibles.
