Obituary of Rebecca Lynn Mason

Rebecca Lynn Mason, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Graveside Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:40 PM at Brownsville Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN. A visitation will be held on January 25, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN. Becky Mason is survived by her spouse of 20 years, Tonja Mason, one son Thomas Windrow McCool, Jr. (Chiara) of San Antonio, TX, one brother, Richard L. Mason III, of Brownsville, TN, two sisters, Pam Thomason (Ed) of Brownsville, TN and Debbie Greenway (Charlie) of Brownsville, TN. She leaves a legacy of two grandchildren, Nick McCool (Cherquala), Josh McCool, a niece, Crissy Carl (Aaron) and a great nephew Wesley Carl. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard L. Mason, Jr. and Barbara Mae Cline Mason. She was born on September 16, 1955 in Sardis, MS. She worked in the medical profession as a nurse for 37 years and worked for Support Solutions of Mid-South for the past 11 years. She loved life and enjoyed bird-watching, fishing, painting and traveling. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
