Obituary of Shirley Ann Joyner

Mrs. Shirley Ann Joyner, age 82, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Lea & Simmons Chapel in Brownsville, TN on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Danny Berryhill officiating. There will be a private burial for Mrs. Joyner. Visitation for Mrs. Joyner will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Shirley Joyner is survived by one son, Gary Joyner (Lindy) of Brownsville, TN., two brothers, Melvin Sain (Shelby) of Memphis, TN, Neil Sain (Libby) of Crosserville, AR, and one sister, Lavelle Pannell of Memphis, TN. She leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, Regan Joyner, Hunter Joyner, Will Joyner, Brett Joyner, Joshua Masters, and three great-grandchildren, Autumn, Jase, and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Neil Joyner, and her parents, Cliffton Douglas Sain and Mary Delma Anthony Sain. Shirley Joyner was born on May 8, 1937 and worked as a clerk for Kleer Vu. Family and faith were important to her. She was a member of Hartland Baptist Church in Memphis.
