Dearest Layne, Amy, & Jack,
Thank you so much for sharing the service of your precious brother on line for all of us who could not be there when we wanted so terribly to be there for you all. The service was so touching and heartfelt and the love for your brother and your family showed thru every minute of it. Thank you again for sharing your family with me and mine when we were growing up riding the school bus and during the wonderful years together at Braden Elementary School with all the kids that still feels like my sisters and brothers even though we aren't blessed to see each other as much as we wished we all could have over the years, it still feels like yesterday being in school with you and the wonderful memories of our childhood with Mrs. Marbury, Miss Lockie McCraw, Mr. C.L. Smith and Mr. McKnight and the kids from Braden and Lambert and everywhere in between my home and yours. We had the best there ever was in those days together with the finest teachers, bus drivers, schoolmates and friends in everyone we were blessed to share this precious school with in the 1960's. I had a friend in the past 20 years tell me when I would reminisce about our youth there she said, all there came from good stock and I believe she was completely accurate with that statement. Layne, Eva Dale and I think Betsy Swope were my age and always felt like they were my best friends and we had a lot of wonderful memories of being in the same class and of course being at Braden you had 2 grades in the same room with each of the teachers above, so we had many others that were like brothers and sisters a grade above you or below you together. I am so sorry for your loss of your precious brother and He is the age of my younger sister, Kathy and it just doesn't seem possible that we could lose one of our siblings at the age we are now. I know God knows your every need and He is there for you waiting for you to call on His Name and help you thru this sorrow and HIs precious Son, Jesus is the Prince of peace and He is our comforter and giver of strength in our weakest hours. Jesus wept it says in God's Letter of Love the bible and it is ok to weep during your sorrow and during your healing that can only come thru Him because He defeated death with giving His life for us and the tomb could not hold Him and He arose. He came not into this world to condemn it but to save it. His life showed us how to come home to our heavenly Father thru Him and He wants all of us to be able to come home to where there is no tears, sorrow or pain. Fill your heart with Love always. God made him and you in His image of Love and I know you tried with your life to live that reflection of your heavenly Father in your Love for him and in your love for your family, friends and neighbors and even schoolmates. Thank you for the Love you shared with my family and me. I know he loved you dearly and can tell he was as proud as he could be to have been blessed with you as his precious brothers and precious sister and he wants peace and comfort for you and wants your life to be better tomorrow than it was today or yesterday. Hold onto each other tight and enjoy every minute you have with each other and tell each other every day how much you love each other and as long as there is Love between you, you will have God between you helping you thru every smile, tear and precious memory and joy and trial you face, because He is Love. Love never ends. God never ends, God, Love is eternal. May He continue to bless you with many more years together growing closer to each other thru every new day. Thank you for being my Braden family in spirit as kids and God's family in reflecting His Love. I have been blessed to have shared my childhood with you. Thank you for sharing it with me. He is a part of you, and you are a part of him God shared with each of you. God, Jesus and He loves you, always remember that and that Love will carry you thru when it seems you aren't strong enough to carry yourself. You will never be alone.

Dearest Layne, Amy & Jack we were so devastated to hear of your loss of your precious brother. God & Jesus love you dearly and so do we. We are praying for comfort, strength, peace, Love & precious memories to help you in the days ahead thru your heavenly Father & Lord & Saviour, Jesus. Blessed are they that mourn and they will be comforted. You all are a part of our childhood family at Braden Elementary from the 1960's and beyond of country kids that grew up together and we have a bond that can't be put in words but only felt by the heart of friendship and pride and love for one another. When your hearts hurt, ours do too. Thank you for sharing your precious family with ours growing up together. We are so sorry for this sadness you are going thru. Look for God's postcards from heaven in rainbows, sunrises, sunsets, butterflies, the smile in the moon, & every blessing He sends you to lift your spirit when you need it the most. Jesus wept for his friend Lazarus but knew he could raise him just as He was raised also. Lean on Jesus and follow in his footsteps thru God's letter of Love, the Bible, His Word and He will guide you thru his Son Jesus to His will and understanding to the path home and to peace where there is no sorrow, sadness or tears. God made him in His image and God is Love. Thank you all for reflecting His image to all of us as kids. You are loved. He is a part of you and you are a part of him and you will see him in your own image each day as time goes on. He left the best part of himself in you knowing God will take care of you and letting you know how much he loves you always. We all are here for you. The old kids from Braden. God bless you always. Thank you for being our life long friends. Debby Henley Harvey
