Obituary of Betty Lucille Robison

Betty Lucille Robison, age 79, passed from this earthly life on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the McKenzie Healthcare and Rehab in McKenzie, TN. Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the Stanton Cemetery with Rev. Evelyn Lanham officiating. Lucille was born on December 16, 1940, in Fayette County, TN to the late Seymour and Jennie Bell Benard. She worked at Nestaway, which made baskets for dishwashers. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, fishing, canning, crafts, cake decorating and she loved to dance. She is survived by two sons, Shelby Gene Byrd (Patricia) of Maynard, AR and Gary Byrd (Leigh Ann) of Memphis, TN. She leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren, Charlie, Nicole, Tabitha, Patty Jean, Jenny, Danielle, and Gabrielle; 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves a special nephew, Ronnie Wages (Patti). She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Don Robison; one son, William McBroom; one grandson, Isaac Gene Byrd, and two sisters, Joan Benard and Marie Warren.
