Obituary of Kathryn Smith Dixon

Kathryn Smith Dixon, age 85, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home in Brownsville, TN. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the Trinity Cemetery in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Bob Connerley officiating. Kathryn was a faithful member of Brownsville Baptist Church. She taught school for 39 years in Shelby and Haywood Counties. She has been married for 40 years to the love of her life, Ray Dixon of Brownsville, TN. She is also survived by four nieces: Elizabeth Hidey, (Jim) Arlington, TN, JoAnne Smith, Wildersville, TN, Donna Mecham (Jeff) Auburn, AL, Martha Akin (Kevin) Miami, FL, five nephews: Charles Gallagher (Leslie) Germantown, TN, Gregory Gallagher, (Pat) Collierville, TN, Thom Dixon, (Sue) Cary, NC, Ed Sanford (Libba) Nashville, TN, James Dixon, Miami, FL.
