Obituary of Mike Hood

Mike Hood, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. His Graveside Memorial Service will be conducted Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush, TN with Bro. Lonnie Robinson officiating. Mike was born October 2, 1952 to George and Bertha Wells Hood, who precede him in death. Mike grew up in the Tibbs community and loved working in his shop with his brother, Ricky. He found great fulfillment by going to the farm to watch them plant and harvest. Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vickey Hood; one son, Robert Garrett, (Robin); two brothers, Bob Hood and Ricky Hood (Teresa); two grandchildren, Austin and Kaylie Garrett, all of Brownsville, TN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
