Obituary of Donna Elrod

Donna Evelyn Elrod, age 56, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN surrounded by her loved ones. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be at 11 AM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant UMC in Whiteville, TN with Bro. Ronald Bruce officiating. Donna was born on April 3, 1965 to Walter and Joy Elrod. She worked in Food Services at the Haywood County Board of Education in Brownsville, TN. She is survived by her son, Joshua Maddox of Brownsville, TN; three brothers, Gerry Elrod (Margarett) of Henning, TN, Lanny Elrod of Dallas, TX and Dean Elrod of Stanton, TN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Joy Sweat Elrod; one brother, Lester Elrod and one sister, Debra Williams. The family has honored her wishes for Cremation. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
