Obituary of Brian Scott Watson

Brian Scott Watson, age 60, passed way Monday, July 26, 2021 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10 AM in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Whiteville, TN. Burial will follow. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, 5PM to 7PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Brian worked for the Haywood Co. Highway Dept. as a shop foreman and served in the Tennessee National Guard. Brian is survived by three sons, Edward Joe King, Jackson, TN, Ronnie Lynn King, Ripley, TN, Donnie Ray King, his mother, Opal Watson, a brother, Chris Watson, a sister, Wendy Elrod, (Dale) all of Whiteville, TN, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Diane Watson, his father, Lamar Watson, a brother, Dennis Watson and a sister, Rhonda Holmes.
