This is Kalin Webb, I was fortunate enough to grow up knowing and being the nephew to Uncle Ray and nothing but positive and happy memories come when I think back on my childhood and when the Webb family was a tight knit family. In the 90s and early 2000s it seemed like my dad Van and my mom and I were making the trip to bells at least once or twice a month to visit or to have a get together at Uncle Billy Neils “party barn!” Is give anything If I could go back to those times and really take it all in because being young I didn’t get to appreciate all the extra time spent with family. Now the only time we see one another really is when a family member passes on. The only regret I have for uncle ray is not coming to visit more and letting life take over and get in the way of what’s most important. Family. Uncle ray used to mess with me all the time especially about duck hunting. I remember this more than any one thing from uncle ray. He would say Kalin I got me a new duck call..he would cup his hand inhale deeply and come out with “here ducky ducky ducky ducky ducky come on here duck!” I was young and knew he always had a little joke for me and that one is one that has been with me since I was probably 8 or 9 years old. My dad called me Monday morning and he told me uncle ray passed away and told me that he went to see him, his brother, on Sunday and he told him he knew he had everything right with the Lord and he was ready to go home. That really sent chills over me and made me realize that I and everyone else need to be more like uncle ray and know where we will spend eternity. A very good man has left this earth but his life has just started and he’s up there with mama and daddy Webb and Aunt Julie and you know uncle Billy Neil was needing some help keeping up with Don and all his trading up there. Thank you Lord for giving us all a chance to be together and with you in Heaven. Uncle Ray may not be right here in person with us but I know we all gained another angel to watch over us everyday. Love you Uncle Ray! And all of the family! Kalin Webb
