Obituary of Gaylon "Skip" Stone

Gaylon Harold “Skip” Stone, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at the First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN. Mr. Stone was born on July 30, 1956, in Carroll County to R.C. and Suzy Stone, both who preceded him in death. He was self-employed as a contractor. He is survived by two sons, Tommy Riddle (Tracy) of Brownsville, TN, Bill Riddle of Medina, TN, and one brother, Steve Stone of Idaho. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Turner Riddle, Ethan Riddle, Ellie Riddle, Kaylee Hurt, Gage Riddle, Noah Riddle and one great-grandchild, Reign Monroe Riddle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Burton Stone; one brother, Richard Stone, two sisters, Pat Stone and Sherry Stone. The family has honored his wishes for cremation. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
