John Gregory (Greg) Austin, age 64, departed this life on October 27, 2021, in Bells, TN. Funeral Services for Greg will be Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN, with Bro. Grover Westover officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Greg was born on February 24, 1957, in Brownsville, TN. He worked as a Paint Contractor. He served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his mother, Martha Jean Austin of Brownsville, TN; his partner, Dianne Wyatt of Bells, TN; one daughter, Crystal Austin Snyder (Mike) of Brownsville, TN; four brothers, Mark Austin of Brownsville, TN, Todd Austin (Peggy) of Brownsville, TN; Will Austin (Kristie) of White House, TN and Josh Austin of Brownsville, TN. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Knox Snyder, Neyland Snyder and Nash Snyder. The family has requested memorials be given to any Veterans charity. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
