Obituary of Peggy Staggs

Peggy Jean Staggs, 75, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Bells Nursing Home in Bells, TN. Visitation for the Staggs family will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 11:00-1:00 at the Brownsville Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Staggs will begin at 1:00 on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Brownsville Funeral Home. Bro. Eddie Martin will be officiating the service. Peggy is survived by her husband, Leon Staggs of Brownsville; three children; Amy Maragos (Pete) of Ripley, TN, Misty Hinsley of Brownsville, TN, and Millard West Jr. of Brownsville, TN; one surviving brother, Jerry West (Doris) of Brownsville, TN; three grandchildren, Charli Hinsley and James Coburn (Coby) Hinsley both of Brownsville, TN. and Christopher Maragos of Ripley, TN. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hope Jones West, her father, Stacey Mack West, and a brother, Bobby West all of Brownsville, TN. Peggy enjoyed fishing ever since she was a young girl and also loved working and taking care of her flower gardens. The thing she valued most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service are Bobby Stokely, Harold Hendrix, Jimmy Worrell, Roy Kellum, Kenneth McBride, and Matthew McBride. Honorary pallbearers are James Coburn (Coby) Hinsley and Christopher Maragos.
