Martha Louise Adcox Helton, age 80, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Harwell officiating. Burial to follow in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation for the Helton family will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Bells Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Mrs. Helton was born in Brownsville, TN on September 25, 1941, to the late Wilson Adcox and Martha Ruth Burrow Adcox. She was a member of the Archer’s Chapel Church of Frog Jump, TN, and retired working in retail services. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years: Mr. Marvin Ray Helton; two sisters: Elizabeth Johnson and Ruth Storms; one daughter: Phyllis Powers and one grandson: Christopher Moore. She is survived by one son: Larry Helton of Nevada; two daughters: Jackie Rainey (Greg) of Parsons, TN, Terrie Moore (Brady) of Bells, TN; She leaves a legacy of eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
