Obituary of Timothy "Tim" Eric Ellington

Timothy “Tim” Eric Ellington, age 55, passed away at Jackson General Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1966 in Brownsville, TN. Tim was a sports fanatic, but especially enjoyed NASCAR and Football. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved serving with and being a part of the Brownsville/Haywood County Rescue Squad. His favorite time of year was when Christmas came around and he could spend the holiday with his family. Tim is survived by his father Ed Ellington (Patricia) of Brownsville, TN; his mother Barbara Estes of Mercer, TN; two brothers, Jason Ellington and Lee (Lynn) Marlar, both of Brownsville, TN; three sisters, Sandra (Scott) Wood of Bartlett, TN, Kim Marlar of Memphis, TN, and Jamie (Marshall) Hendrix of Brownsville, TN; he was preceded in death by his stepfather Ronnie Estes. Graveside Memorial Services for Tim will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Brownsville Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN with Bro Randy Kellough officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the charity of the Donor’s Choice. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
