Obituary of Janie Layvonne Bain

Janie Layvonne Roberson Bain, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Lauderdale Community Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 2:00P.M. in the Chapel of the Maranatha Baptist Church, with Bro. Tim Smartt officiating. Burial to follow in the Trinity Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Maranatha Baptist Church from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour at 2:00 P.M. She was born on March 16, 1940, in Elbridge, TN to the late Marvin Samuel Roberson and Jessie Leona Chandler Roberson. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church. Mrs. Janie worked as a rural Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and at Heckathorne Manufacturing, the accounting department. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years: Walker Neal Bain; one son: David Bain; two brothers: Marvin Samuel Roberson and Nathaniel Roberson. She is survived by one son: Paul Bain (Vicki Gould) of Ripley, TN; two brothers: Tony Roberson (Debra) of Dyersburg, TN, Steven Chandler Roberson of Ripley, TN; three sisters: Sue Frances Hill of Ripley, TN, Rebecca Endmon of Brownsville, TN, Darla Roberson of Gates, TN, Karen Galloway (Bill) of Gates, TN; She leaves a legacy of two grandchildren: John David Bain and Emily Bain. The Bain Family greatly appreciate the kind expressions of sympathy in our loss. Thank you for keeping them in your prayers. Serving as pallbearers are Brian Bain, Tracy Bain, Jeff Hill, Robert Hill, Chad Hardy, Hardy Simmons. Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Hill and Ray Stover.
