Obituary of Billy Fay Russell

Billy Fay Russell, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Sammy Tillman officiating. Billy Russell was born on April 1, 1940, in Henderson County, TN. He was a retired truck driver and he loved working on trucks. He especially enjoyed family dinners on Friday nights. He dearly loved his grandchildren. Billy is survived by his sister, Jean Gray, Brownsville, TN, brother-in-law, Lynn Cates, Brownsville, TN, two grandchildren, Dalton Jones (Madelyn), and Dylan Jones and one great-grandchild, Carmen Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Nora Hollawell Russell, two sisters, Ann Canady and Melba Cates and brother-in-law, Richard Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the First United Methodist Church, 117 E. Franklin St., Brownsville, TN 38012. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
