Obituary of Gladys King

Mrs. Gladys King, age 86 passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 in the Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 12:00 Noon, in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. A visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2014 from 11:00 - 12:00 Noon in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. King was a homemaker and a joy to be around, she loved animals and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband: Alvin King, her parents: James and Eddie Mae Simmons Dean, two sisters: Jimmie Mae Phifer and Inez Ilene Wilson. She is survived by her aunt: Martha Pepper, Brownsville, TN, six nieces and nephews: Dorothy Anthony, Melrose Park, IL, Linda Greenup, Henry, TN, Suzie Pillow, Atwood, TN, Rickey Phifer, Paris, TN, Shirley Harden, Benton, IL and James Arnold of West Virginia.
