Obituary of Ethel Ray

Mrs. Ethel Elnora Walton Ray, 89 passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the Crestview Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband Elihu J. Ray, her parents: George and Celia Daniels Walton, four brothers: Hubert Walton, A.D. Walton, Robert Walton, Jack Walton, three sisters: Mary Spencer, Frances Carroll and Jessie Mae Smith. She is survived by her four children: Lisa Lewis, Brownsville, TN, David Ray (Debbie), Big Sandy, TN, Tommy Elihu Ray (Yvonne), Bells, TN, Carolyn Haislip, Munford, TN, eight grandchildren: Cindy Hays, Brandon Haislip, Brad Ray, Lance Ray, Christy Fisher, Mindy Crockett, Lauren Martin, Donnie Ray Lewis, eight great-grandchildren: Chris and Cody Hays, Hunter and Kendra Ray, Kevin and Devin Fisher, Bentley Lewis and Kaden Martin.
