Obituary of Lois Young

Mrs. Lois Thornton Young, age 88 was born and passed away in her home in Brownsville, TN on Saturday, March 27, 2010. She was born September 5, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Edwards Thornton, her husband Dr. James "Gene" Young and one great - grandson James Miller Baggett. Graveside Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM Monday, March 29, 2010, in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Joe Thornton and Rev. Robert Cole officiating. She is survived by one sister, Myra Jo Hurley of Brownsville, TN, one son, James "Jim" Young, Jr. (Hilda) of Cordova, TN, one daughter, Diana Young Fuller of Brownsville, TN, three grandchildren, Christy Clark-Baggett (Allen), Megan Young Fuller, Hanna E. Young and two great-grandchildren, Allen "Drake" Baggett and Aimee Grace Baggett. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church Fund, c/o Betsy Thornton, 57 Old Hwy 19, Brownsville, TN 38012.
