Obituary of Billy Parker

Mr. William D. "Billy" Parker, age 78 passed away at his residence on Friday, March 26,2010. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church, worked at Christmas Furniture Store for 40 years and also had Parker's Appliance Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2010, Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Conway officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 29, 2010 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Martha Nell Thomas Parker, Brownsville, TN, his daughter, Valerie Faith Parker Dotson, (Randy), Union City, TN and three grandchildren, Carlie Dotson, Parker Dotson and Maddie Dotson, a brother: Jerry Parker, Brownsville, TN, two sisters: Mary Catherine Parker, Chattanooga, TN, and Betty Nell Veazey, Milan, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o David Brooks, 913 Dt. Williams Rd., Bells, TN 38006.
