Mr. James Stanley Austin, age 83, passed away in the Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 in Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 P.M., Friday, May 7, 2010 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. James Stanley Austin was born October 5, 1926 in Haywood County to Stanley and Gladys Austin. He was employed for 23 years with the Exxon Corporation working his way up from truck driver to plant manager. He retired in 1985. Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Gladys Hayes Austin, his wife Jane LeVaughan Austin, his son: James Lesley Austin, a brother: Bobby Austin and four sisters: Katherine Clutts , Marie Kendricks, Vera Doegers and Dorothy Ann Austin. He is survived by a daughter: Norma Jean Perry, Wellington, Mo; two brothers: Don Austin, Oakland, TN and Jimmy Austin, Byhalia, MS; two sisters: Geneva Barnes, Byhalia, MS and Aileen Durham, Water Valley, MS; two grandsons: James Austin Perry, and his wife, Patrice and Kellen Thomas Perry, and his wife, Tara and two great grandchildren: Veronica & Dean Perry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2170 Business Center Dr., Suite 1, Memphis, TN 38134 or the American Cancer Society, Att: Sharolett Osteen, c/o Insouth Bank, P.O.
