Obituary of Geneva Barnes

Mrs. Geneva Louise Austin Barnes, age 78, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley and Gladys Hayes Austin; two brothers: Bobby Austin and James Austin; and four sisters: Katherine Clutts, Marie Kendricks, Dorothy Ann Austin, and Vera Doerges.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM, Sunday, May 30, 2010 with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Whiteville, TN.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Amuel A. Barnes, Byhalia, MS; two brothers: Don Austin, Oakland, TN and Jimmy Austin, Byhalia, MS; and one sister: Aileen Durham, Water Valley, MS.
