Obituary of Frances Reid

Frances Williams Reid, age 94, passed away August 14, 2010 at Miller Nursing Home in Colquitt, Georgia. Funeral services were held August 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Colquitt First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Marshall officiating. A Graveside Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in Providence First United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Foropoulos and Rev. Jim Douglass officiating. A visitation for the Reid family will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Lea& Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Reid was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Reid; her parents, Chester and Mary Clark Williams; a brother, Carlyle Williams; and a grandson, Brian Aslin. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Aslin (Gary) of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren: David Aslin (Cathy) Germantown, TN; Ike Aslin (Tina) Shelby, MT, Suzanne Aslin, Colquitt, GA, and Amy Beaty, (Greg) Colquitt, GA ; and seven great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
