Obituary of John Brooks

Mr. Lewis John Brooks, age 82 passed away at his home in Medina, TN on Friday, October 1, 2010. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 2, 2010 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Elbert Brooks and Lucille Newman Brooks, his wife: Mary Ann Brooks and his son: Danny Brooks. He is survived by three daughters: Linda Brooks Bollinger, West Memphis, AR, Vania Brooks, Jackson, TN and Christie Dotson, Medina, TN; three brothers: Elbert Brooks, Jr., Henderson, TN, Larry Brooks, Bartlett, TN and Tom Brooks, Oakland, TN; one sister: Betty Bizzell, Ripley, TN, five grandchildren: Shane Hart, Nickie Wood, Lindsey Allen, Tyler Dotson and Tori Dotson, and one great-grandchild: Knox Dotson. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
