Mr. James Lyle Petty, age 76, passed away in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2010 in the Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Mike Moore officiating.
Mr. Petty was preceded in death by his parents: Tom Lee Petty and Eva Hatfield Petty; one brother: Bobby L. Petty; and one sister: Doris Petty.
He is survived by two sons: Donald Petty, Paris, TN, and Jimmy Petty, Lexington, TN; four brothers: Harold Petty, Brownsville, TN, Larry Petty, Mercer, TN, Wayne Petty, Southaven, MS, and Terry Petty, Jackson, TN; five sisters: Mamie Burns, Jackson, TN, Maxine Barcroft, Mercer, TN Peggy Heaburg, Jackson, TN, Betty Bledsoe, Parsons, TN, and Barbara Petty, Mercer, TN; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Ilene Barcroft, 955 Hubert Barcroft Rd. Brownsville, TN 38012.
