Obituary of Ron Jernigan

Mr. Ron Jernigan, age 67 passed away Sunday, Nov. 28 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 in Crossroads Baptist Church in Bells, TN. Burial will follow in the Oakview Memorial Park in Alamo, TN. A visitation for the Jernigan family will be from 5 -8 Tuesday, November 30 in the Crossroads Baptist Church. Mr. Jernigan retired after 31 years from the City of Memphis Fire Department and 12 years with the Crockett County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Jernigan is preceded in death by his parents: George and Margaret Williams Jernigan, two sisters: Christine Putnam and Marveline Emison and two brothers: George Frank Jernigan and Morris Teague Jernigan. He is survived by his wife Linda Jernigan, his son: Wayne Jernigan (Rita), his daughter: Ronde Howell (Robert), two grandchildren: Jennie Marie Howell and Joshua Howell all of Bells, TN, two sisters: Blondell Rice of Bells, TN and Odean Putnam of Providence, TN.
