Obituary of Joyce Patton

Mrs. Joyce Faye Patton, age 75 passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Crestview Healthcare Center in Brownsville. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Brownsville. A visitation for the Patton family will be Monday, April 4, 2011 from 5 until 7 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her first husband: J.B. Teague and her second husband: Alison "Bugs" Patton; one son: Jerry Teague; three brothers: James Richardson, Franklin Richardson, and George Richardson; one sister: Lulamae Schultz. She is survived by three sons: David Teague (Candy) and their daughter Allison of Brownsville, TN; Jimmy Teague (Doris), Sammy Teague all of Jackson, TN; two daughters: Jorica Moore (Ted) of Selmer, TN; and Patsy Markum (Bobby) of Paris, TN; one brother: Ralph Richardson (Carol) of Pinson, TN; two sisters: Gearleen Maness of Pinson, TN and Learleen Tedford of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren and was loved by Buddy Patton, Kathy McKinley, and Marjorie Weide. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Jackson, 315 East Chester St., Jackson, TN 38301, the First United Methodist Church of Brownsville, 117 East Franklin St., Brownsville, TN 38012 or the Allen's Baptist Church, 5533 Hwy. 79 North, Brownsville, TN 38012.
