Obituary of William Diggs

Mr. William Thomas "Tommy" Diggs, Jr. age 79 passed away at Crestview Healthcare Center on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Connerley officiating. Entombment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation for the Diggs family will be Friday, July 22, 2011 from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Diggs was preceded in death by his parents: William Thomas Diggs, Sr. and Evie Lena Nimmo Diggs, a son: William Travis Diggs and two brothers: Earnest Diggs and Manuel Diggs. He is survived by his wife; JoAnn Castellaw Diggs, a daughter; Angelia Kirkpatrick, two sisters: Catherine Hendrix and Betty Timms all of Brownsville, TN and one grandson; Christopher Kirkpatrick.
